Wellness exams
Routine check-ups keep your pet healthy and catch problems early. We do a full physical, check dental health, screen for common conditions and give recommended vaccinations, then talk through diet, exercise and lifestyle.
Every pet is different, so our veterinarians build a proactive, personalized plan that keeps your pet healthy, active and comfortable at every stage of life. For cats, our quarterly Meow Mondays offer a quieter, cat-only morning.
Vaccinations
Core vaccines like rabies, distemper and parvovirus, plus non-core vaccines that fit your pet’s lifestyle and risk factors. Our veterinarians build a personalized plan so each vaccine lands at the right time, protecting your pet and the wider community from contagious disease.
Urgent care
For sudden but non-life-threatening problems, we can often offer same-day appointments during business hours: ear or eye concerns, minor limping or wounds, tummy troubles, coughing or sneezing, or changes in appetite, thirst or bathroom habits.
Not sure whether it is urgent? Call us, and our team will talk through what you are seeing and guide you on the next step. If your pet needs immediate, intensive or overnight care, we will direct you to a trusted 24-hour emergency hospital and help with a smooth handoff.

Dental care
Your pet’s dental health is a key part of their overall health. We offer routine dental exams, professional cleanings and digital radiography to find problems early, plus extractions when needed.
Neglected teeth can lead to periodontal disease, pain, and problems that affect the heart, liver and kidneys. We will also show you how to keep things healthy at home, from brushing techniques to dental chews.
Surgery
From routine procedures to complex surgeries, our veterinarians put your pet’s safety and comfort first at every stage.
Orthopedic care is here too. Through our partnership with Dr. Lucas Moeder of Moeder Orthopedic Consulting, we offer advanced procedures including TPLO surgery for dogs with cranial cruciate ligament injuries, with personalized recovery plans.
Cardiology
We offer in-clinic cardiac evaluations in partnership with Tau Veterinary Cardiology and Consulting, led by Dr. Justin Thomason.
Services include echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, OFA cardiac examinations and bloodwork with cardiac biomarkers, for thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans.
Diagnostics
Digital radiology lets us capture high-quality images quickly and spot fractures, tumors and other changes inside your pet’s body.
Some conditions do not show up in a routine exam, so our in-clinic laboratory equipment looks for subtle changes in organ function and hidden health issues, helping us act early.
Our dog was very lethargic, but fidgety so we knew something was making her feel bad. Candlewood got her in quickly, did an exam and bloodwork, and diagnosed her with pancreatitus right away. We got meds, special food, and good discharge instructions to help Patches get better quickly.
Laser therapy
Non-invasive laser treatments target pain and inflammation at the source, delivering therapeutic light to stimulate cellular repair.
It is a safe, gentle option for arthritis, soft tissue injuries and postoperative pain, and part of a personalized plan aimed at long-term relief and a more active life.
Microchipping
A tiny, permanent chip under the skin carries a unique ID number linked to your contact details. We keep the process calm and Fear Free, and it gives a lost pet a far better chance of coming home.
At-home euthanasia
For our established patients nearing the end of their journey, we offer end-of-life care in your pet’s familiar surroundings, so they stay surrounded by love and comfort in their final moments.
Our veterinarians approach this time with empathy and compassion, with gentle guidance and support for you and your pet, whether you are facing a difficult decision or simply looking for reassurance.
Ways to pay for care
Care plans spread routine care into one monthly payment. We also accept Cherry, with monthly payments and no hard credit check, and CareCredit, for both routine visits and unexpected treatment.
