Meow Monday

Once a quarter we keep a whole morning for cats. The building is dog-free, soft jazz plays, appointments are limited so the lobby stays calm, and every kitty goes home with a Purr Pop.

What happens on Meow Monday

TPLO surgery, without the waitlist

No driving hours away or waiting months for a referral. Dr. Lucas Moeder of Moeder Orthopedic Consulting performs TPLO here at Candlewood for dogs with a torn cranial cruciate ligament, for families across Central Kansas. Pricing is a clear, custom package based on your dog’s weight.

Evaluation
A complete orthopedic exam and digital radiographs of the knee, and a plan you feel comfortable with.
Surgery
Dr. Moeder performs the TPLO at Candlewood. Most dogs go home with buried, absorbable sutures.
Recovery
About 8 to 12 weeks of restricted activity, with follow-up radiographs around eight weeks.
